On Saturday, 20 June, we reported a service issue affecting the One NZ Ready Messenger Platform, including SMS/MMS delivery and external portal access.
Following a detailed investigation, we have confirmed that this alert was triggered by an internal monitoring anomaly indicating that a node was unreachable from certain overseas locations. Importantly, there was no actual customer service impact during this time, and message traffic and platform access continued to operate as expected throughout the event.
As a result, the incident previously reported on our status page was inaccurate and is hereby retracted.
We sincerely apologise for any confusion or concern this may have caused to our customers and partners. We are reviewing our monitoring and communication processes to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
